PROJECT DESCRIPTION

• Project awarded through nationally competitive process
• Project funded the acquisition of the 4.2 acre site which was former location of Ford auto dealership and involved extensive environmental remediation (Brownfield remediation)
• 17,982 square feet of street level retail space including space for GSU Health Services, a campus police substation and dispatch, a full service restaurant, coffee shop and convenience store as well as a 786 space parking deck were integrated into the facility
• 4 mid-rise buildings ranged from 8 to 15 stories and were flanked around an elevated and landscaped courtyard with full fire access by the City of Atlanta FD.
• Residential design program of all fully furnished apartment style units with full kitchens
• Common areas include a 24-hour service/security desk, multiple resident lounges and meeting rooms, laundry facilities, SMART classrooms as well as staff and security offices.
