PROJECT DESCRIPTION

• The structured parking deck accommodates 1,080 cars in six levels and was developed to supplement the 900 beds of new housing as well as the new 40,000 sf dining hall.
• The parking deck was constructed on the side of a steep incline and involved the acquisition and demolition of several older single-family homes and a University surface parking lot.
• The deck features a bridge from its top level over to the street level of the adjacent ridge, which serves pedestrian access to the North Georgia Suites as well as all of north campus.
• The AUDG Team was selected by the University in February 2009 following a nationally competitive process and proudly delivered the parking deck on time and on budget in advance of the Fall 2010 semester.
