PROJECT DESCRIPTION

• Partnership with Architects Southwest of Lafayette, LA to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for the UL Lafayette campus
• Scope of the project consists of the following objectives:

  • Develop long-term land use patterns of the existing campus and identified growth areas
  • Assess and determine optimal phasing for future development
  • Develop campus architectural codes and regulations to control materials, configuration, construction technologies and encourage variety
  • Develop campus specifications for site furnishings, landscape and hardscape elements
  • Obtain final plat approval of City Zoning for growth areas as well coordinate all traffic impacts
  • Conduct multiple design charrettes and planning meetings with University staff, local constituents and general public.

• Anticipated completion: December 2011
